About Pet First Animal Hospital

 Pet First Animal Hospital, owned by Dr. John Taylor, is located in Bradenton, FL.  Pet First Animal Hospital has been serving clients for over 30 years! We  are a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care for your cats and dogs.

Our veterinarian, Dr. Taylor, and his veterinary staff provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.  We also offer grooming every Wednesday by appointment, and have a fully stocked "food room" with prescription diet foods.  

Pet First Animal Hospital is currently in the process of remodeling!  So far we have finished the flooring, our pharmacy is complete, we have a new bathing station, new paint throughout, and the treatment room is complete.   Our current project is finalizing the lighting throughout the veterinary clinic.  We are excited to show off the completely revamped clinic!  

Pet First Animal Hospital prides itself in being unique.  Our building is actually an old house that was built in the 1950's, and was later converted to a veterinarian clinic.  The building looks like a little doll house and is situated on a well kept yard with beautiful foliage and native plants.  Having an Old-Florida vintage feel to our veterinarian clinic separates us from all of the other veterinarians around town.  We would love for you to come by and take a look.

Besides having vintage feel, we have a very compassionate, caring staff. Kelly has been our receptionist for over 10 years and all of the clients love her! Charlie has been a veterinarian technician at Pet First Animal Hospital for over 15 years and is absolutely wonderful with all the patients that come in. Dr. Taylor, our veterinarian, has excellent reviews and many of his clients are referred by other clients.  He truly is an exceptional veterinarian.
